Chairperson
The Chairperson reads the script, calls on people to share, sends requests to unmute to participants, and lowers their virtual hands after shares.
Locate the Chairperson’s script on the website at pnpaca.org.
Arrive 10 minutes before the meeting.
Ensure the Tech Host has made you a co-host.
Coordinate with the Tech Host and let them know if you are comfortable sending requests to unmute participants and lower their virtual hand. If not comfortable, the Tech Host will do it for you.
If no Tech Host has arrived by 9:55, ask for volunteers to be Tech Host.
At 9:00 am ET, begin reading the script.
Call on persons with raised hands.
Send a request for them to unmute. Click the … icon in the top right corner of their video or, from the Participants window, click on the More button next to their name and send Request to Unmute.
Thank the person after their share and/or say “You’ve been heard”. Please do not comment on what was shared.
Lower their virtual hand after they share.
At the end of the meeting, continue the sharing process in the virtual parking lot.
After sharing is complete, ask if there are any questions and open the floor for fellowship.
If you need to leave at the end of the meeting, ask someone to take over for you.
If you need support during the meeting, you can private chat with the host or cohosts.
